EPFU Fiber Cable/FU/ABF/Fiber Unit

The Air Blown Microduct Fiber Unit (EPFU) is optimised for air injection into microducts and is used in optical networks, more specifically for use in Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and Fiber-to-the-Desk (FTTD) networks. This technique is lower cost, quicker and more environmentally friendly than traditional deployment, allowing a simpler instalation with less resources. The cable is a small, cost-effective acrylate fiber unit specifically designed for air-blown installation applications.

  • Covered by plastic buffer sheet
  • Sealed by strong wooden battens
  • At least 1 m of inside end of cable will be reserved for testing.
